The concept of the Evil Eye has been ingrained in various cultures worldwide and is often associated with harm or misfortune. It is believed that negative glances, thoughts, or remarks can cause this malicious curse, and as a result, many societies, especially in the Mediterranean, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia, have adopted protective measures. One such measure is the use of amulets or talismans, with the nazar, a symbol resembling an eye, being the most notable. Although typically depicted in blue, the evil eye also appears in other colors, each carrying their own cultural significance and influence.
